Despite difficult conditions that have affected all businesses large and small, Lucas continued to have a major presence at two important trade shows in China during 2020.
Whilst visitor numbers were understandably lower than at previous shows, Lucas was there to greet its many international customers, as you would expect from a global brand with one of the widest parts coverage in the aftermarket.
The Lucas name is synonymous with high standards and excellent service and our green boxes are a familiar sight in practically every workshop around the world. Every one holds a story and this one is about endurance and resilience in the face of a pandemic.
At Auto Aftermarket Guangzhou, between October 11th and 13th, Lucas showcased its class leading ranges for Rotating Machines (starters and alternators), Engine Cooling (electric fans) and Ignition coils.
The show was set in 60,000 square metres and 1028 exhibitors attended. Guangzhou is a major automotive manufacturing hub. It attracted not only dealers and workshops, but also OEMs.
At Shanghai Automechanika, between December 2nd and 5th, Lucas was also centre stage. Held at the National Exhibition and Convention Centre, the show covered 280,000 square metres with 3,845 exhibitors and attracted nearly 80,000 visitors.
Online page views through AMS Live increased the total participation by 578,000 distributors, installers and OEM companies from 150 countries and regions.
The Lucas product range displayed included Collision repair products, CV joints, Sensors, Door lock modules, Fuel pumps, Batteries, Wheel bearing, A/C compressors, Engine cooling products, Ignition coils, Water pumps, Air mass meters, Rotating electrics, Lighting and Filtration.
Great interest was shown in our Lighting related products, such as LED lamps, LED bi-projector lenses, HID lamps and LED high beam lighting.
Many of these products are new to our range and were shown for the first time at the show.
Our customers were delighted to see us represented at both shows and we look forward to meeting many more at shows to come.
Because at Lucas, our range goes further.
