Lucas sponsors Jack Butel for Aston Martin British GT4
Jack Butel is a professional racing driver from Jersey. 2019 was a busy season, with cars entered in both the British GT4 Championship for Optimum Motorsport (Aston Martin) as well the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe series.
Jack ended the 2019 season in great form. He achieved a podium in the final Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe race of the season in Jerez, Spain.
Jack was also selected as an Aston Martin Academy Driver for the 2019 season and has been recommended for a similar opportunity with Lamborghini in 2020. Jack’s Aston proudly carries the Lucas car battery logo.
Class victory for Butel in Abu Dhabi
Jack was crowned a GT1 Cup Champion at the 2019 Gulf 12 hours hosted at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi. Jack was back behind the wheel of the #12 Lamborghini Super Trofeo, sharing the car alongside team owner Shota Abkhazava.
