Julian Santero races for Lucas in the Turismo Carretera championship in Argentina
Lucas was in action at the world’s oldest continuously annually running racing championship event in Argentina. (Guinness World Records). The first TC competition took place in 1937, organised by The ATCA, Asociación Corredores de Turismo Carretera.
The series is still going strong and Lucas is proud to maintain this important sponsorship in a market where our name has long been associated with quality automotive products.
Julián Santero, our sponsored driver, saw some real action on the day. Whilst Mariano Werner took the first series of the GP RUS at Ciudad de Viedma Autodrome, Julián took possession of the second, beating tough competition from Jonatan Castellano. Matías Rossi won the third and also set the best time to start the final race.
Julian had qualified second for the race -
