The range is made with the latest technology and with long life of high priority. It consists of 16 different models that cover 100% of European and Asian vehicles.
The range of Lucas Premium batteries is designed for vehicles with medium on-board power demand and a conventionally engine stating procedure. It is not suitable for stop/start engine technology. The range will provide remarkable performance over a long period and consists of sealed, maintenance free lead calcium alloy batteries. There are 47 types available that will suit practically any need for European and Asian vehicles.
Our range solves the problem caused by the overuse of the starter motor in vehicles fitted with stop/start technology. Lucas AGM Stop/Start batteries have an average of three times the energy and service life of a conventional battery. This makes them the perfect solution for vehicles where, in addition to the power needed for driving operations, the battery can also cope with the challenges of intensive conditions – cold winters, hot summers or to power accessories and ancillary equipment.
Stop/start systems are usually equipped with an EFB – Enhanced Flooded Battery – as the vehicle technology needs higher than normal energy requirements.
